SC Guitar Show
Went to the SC Guitar Show this weekend. Why do guitars have to be so fucking expensive? I could've spent some serious money there, but I couldn't justify doing so. The guitars that stood out the most to me were ALL of the Gretsch models. Cheapest ones went around $1900. I did get to pick up a 1961 Fender Telecaster. It looked like it had been dragged behind a truck, but that's what was so cool about it. It had a price tag of about $6000. There were a couple of B-bender tele's out there too. I didn't walk out of there empty handed. I bought a $10 leather strap, best deal in the whole show.

At first when you said you "picked it up" I thought you meant you bought it...
I keep saying I'm going to start playing again... just never can find the time.

I haven't been playing as much as I used to. Especially about the past 6 months.
I normally jam with a couple of guys at least about twice a month, but it's just for fun, nothing serious. My brother and I are supposed to jam with these other cats this weekend, the one dude is awesome on guitar. Hopefully it'll get me back in the swing of things.
