Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone eats too much. I for one will be sleeping the majority of the day b/c I have to work. Leftovers for me.

Off the Air?

I may go "off the air" for a little while due to a couple of things (Great idea Austin!!!). If you wanna keep up with me, you'll know where to find me.

Who knows, I may still rant on this site from time to time.

Seriously???

Who's up for a trip to Europe in 2006? Me and Robinta have been talking back & forth about a trip to Amsterdam. Maybe take a day trip to Paris, maybe Germany. It's a free for all. Who knows what would happen in a place like that. It could be TONS O' FUN. Seriously. If you're reading this shit and wanna go, just let me know, 'cause we'll do this SHIT!

I should never post when drunk, but oh well. I'm still serious.

How Many More Times?

Yet another hurricane slams the U.S.

Two weeks ago our New Orleans, Mobile, and Destin switches were finally free of any "network issues" caused by Hurricane Katrina. Now it's Wilma's turn to try and take out our Miami switch.

It almost did.

From what I hear, there's holes in the roof that let rain leak thru on equipment and a wall almost caved in. These damn freaks of motherfuckingnature sure do make work interesting.

Luckily, I wasn't the person watching over the southern Florida area and didn't have to deal with it like I did Katrina. I guess things could be worse. I could be working at a furniture factory and accidently cut off my finger or take a saw to the head. Or get arrested, that'd really suck.

Great crowd, great show. The 2nd encore was amazing. I've been wanting to see "Magazine Called Sunset" live. "Something in the Air" was an incredible surprise.

The highlight of the show was during "Hummingbird". Some guy brought his 6yr old daughter to the show and was holding her up so she could see the show. Before they were getting ready to play a song(can't remember which one), Jeff asks the little girl her age, she says 6; he then asked if it was her first concert, she says no. Jeff immediately replies, "I'm sorry". Once they start to play "Hummingbird", Jeff walks to the very front of the stage and sings the first verse towards the little girl, then jumps off of the stage, runs right up to the girl and sings the rest of the song to her. During the instrumental at the end, the girls father hands her over to Jeff, and everone proceeds to hop up and down. Really amazing. I guarantee you there was NO ONE without a smile on their face during that entire song, maybe the entire concert after that point.
